Instructions for Authors
Mineralogia offers publications of the following formats:
- original research (up to 15000 words),
- review papers (up to 15000 words),
- scientific communications (a short research paper, up to 3000 words),
- short notes (a brief communication, e.g., a report of new interesting occurrences of minerals, new analytical methods, fieldwork discoveries; up to 1500 words),
- book reviews,
- letters to editors with comments on papers published in Mineralogia.
Authors of larger manuscripts are asked to contact the Editor-in-Chief before submission. The detailed instructions for the authors can be downloaded here:

The journal is an Open Access journal that allows a free unlimited access to the entire content without any restrictions to all users.

This journal provides immediate open access to its content under the Creative Commons BY 4.0 license. Authors who publish with this journal retain the copyrights and agree to the terms of the above-mentioned CC BY 4.0 license.
Article Processing Charge (APC)
There are no Article Processing Charges or any other publication charges.

Sciendo archives the contents of this journal in Portico - digital long-term preservation service of scholarly books, journals and collections.
Plagiarism Policy
The editorial board is participating in a growing community of Similarity Check System users in order to ensure that the content published is original and trustworthy. Similarity Check is a medium that allows for comprehensive manuscript screening, aimed to eliminate plagiarism and provide a high standard and quality peer-review process.
Funding
Authors should list all funding sources in the Acknowledgments section.
ORCID
Mineralogia requires ORCID credentials.
Ethical considerations
This journal follows the basic principles of the publishing process as documented by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). The COPE's guidelines focus mainly on issues related to publication in the medical literature; thus, not all the points are relevant to the Mineralogia journal. Although the essential ethical concerns considered while publishing in Mineralogia align with the COPE guidelines, Mineralogia is not bound by their defined processes.
